PURPOSE: To expand a range in which direct wave of infrared-rays is made incident (received) by supporting a light receiving window pivotably between a 1st position where it is directed forward and a 2nd position directed backward. CONSTITUTION: A light receiving section 4 having a light receiving window 5 is fitted to a shaft 6 provided to a device (liquid crystal projector) body 1 so as to be pivoted within a vertical plane around the shaft 6. The light receiving section 4 is pivoted between a 1st position in which the light receiving window 5 is directed in front and the light receiving section 4 is contained in the device body 1 and a 2nd position in which the light receiving window 5 is directed backward and the light receiving section 4 is projected from the device body 1 by means of a shaft 6. For example, a click function is provided to fix the window 5 at an optional position in addition to the 1st and 2nd positions. In the case of using the liquid crystal projector 1 through rear side projection, a remote control signal from the front side transmitted through a screen by the light receiving section 4 at the 1st position is mainly received and in the case of using the projector 1 by front side projection, the light receiving section 4 at the 2nd position mainly receives directly the remote control signal from the rear side. |
