PURPOSE: To display in-zone and out-zone accurately when a mobile station whose position is registered in a base station moves to a service area of other base station. CONSTITUTION: An ID discrimination section 8 compares a just preceding base station ID stored in an ID memory 9 with a base station ID received at present and when they are different, that is, the mobile station is resident in a service area of a base station different from that whose position is registered precedingly, a communication enable discrimination level is received from the current base station and the level and the current reception level Lo are compared (level comparison section 3). When the reception level Lo is the reception level or over depending on the comparison result, in-zone notice (display) is conducted and when the reception level is less the discrimination level, out-zone notice (display) is conducted quickly.
