PURPOSE: To prevent a transfer ticket from being collected in a station other than a junction station on the ticket face by erroneous purchase by rewriting the junction station information on the transfer ticket with a station provided with an automatic ticket examination device and executing the ticket examination processing to discharge the ticket in the case that it is judged that junction station information on the received transfer ticket doesn't indicate a station provided with the device. CONSTITUTION: Based on read contents from read heads 14 and 15, a CPU compares the junction station code and the station code of the station provided with this automatic ticket examination device stored in a ROM with each other. If it is judged that the junction station on the transfer ticket is not this station, the CPU reads out the fare to this station from a fare memory and subtracts this fare from the fare read from the transfer ticket 2 to calculate the fare from a new junction station, and the fare from the new junction station and the new junction station code are magnetically recorded by a rewrite head 17, and the new junction station and the new fare from the new junction station are printed on the transfer ticket 2 by print parts 22a and 22b, and this ticket is carried by a carrying path 11 and is discharged. |
