PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To limit the number of X terminal on which a menu of an application program operated by a work station is simultaneously displayed. SOLUTION: In the X window system where a work station 10 and plural X terminal are connected, when a program 70 is started from an X terminal and the number of X terminals capable of displaying a menu of a preset program 70 is larger than the number of X terminals in a menu information management file 60, or when information relating to the X terminals requesting the start of the program 70 is in existence already in the menu information management file 60, or X terminals whose process number is 0 are in existence in the menu information management file 60, a menu information management means 50 updates the menu information management file 60 and informs it to an operation acceptance discrimination means 30 that the menu of the program 70 is displayed on the X terminals and the operation acceptance discrimination means 30 controls the execution or stop of the program 70. |
