PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal driving method capable of supplying a liquid crystal driving voltage suitable for liquid crystal temp. with a satisfactry responsiveness. CONSTITUTION: Color filters for R, G, B are arranged by being spaced with a prescribed interval in a liquid crystal display panel 2 and a black matrix 3 is arranged between the color filters. A resistance change detecting circuit 10 is connected to arbitrary two points of the black matrix 3 and outputs a dropped voltage value to a comparator 12 by being supplied with the reference voltage from a reference power supply 11. In the comparator 12, potential difference data expressing the liquid temp. are taken out by comparing the dropped voltage value with the reference voltage to be outputted to a power supply circuit 13. In the power supply circuit 13, the liquid crystal driving voltage suitable to the liquid crystal temp. is supplied by controlling the liquid crystal driving voltage to be supplied to a segment driver 5 according to the potential difference data. |
