An apparatus and method for compensating length of voice signal of audio/video displayer is disclosed. The apparatus for compensating length of audio/video displayer comprises: input means for allow an user to input a wanted shape of listening space to listen through a plurality of keys; displaying means for displaying the shape of the listening space responsive to key input through the input means; and control menas for controlling length of voice signal responsive to the shape of the listening space. Thereby, the apparatus compensates distortion in the length of the voice signal and can be cheaply implemented.
