The dual CD player (1) feeds the outputs from both recordings to the rhythm analyser. The data relating to the beats per minute (BPM), from each piece of music, are fed to a display unit (2). The synchronised signals are fed from the analyser (10) to the conventional audio mixer circuit (3). The user can use the system to play two tunes simultaneously or to make one tune follow another without breaking the beat.
