A cabinet for rack mounted electrical equipment eg. a transmitter cabinet, has parallel side walls 1, 2 provided with a number of slots 3, 4 in which rails 19 are inserted in an interlocking fashion in order to support equipment modules which are slid in and out of the cabinet. Optionally outer panels 9, 10 may be provided to form box-sections with the side walls 1, 2, so that the resulting cabinet is stiff yet light and can be assembled quickly. |
