<p>PURPOSE: To automate the regulation of the width of a sheet by preventing an extruding material from penetrating between an extruder body and the contact surface of a side guide. CONSTITUTION: In the roller head extruder having a pair of calender rolls 8 arranged at the front of the material extrusion port 4 of an extruder body 1 and a pair or right and left side guides 9 arranged to mold the material extruded from an extruding port 4 in a sheet state by the rolls 8, the guides 9 are automatically movable in a sheet width direction by a moving cylinder 9, and fixed to the front face of the flange 5 of the body 1 by clamping means capable of releasing a clamping force. The force is applied by a spring 15 and released by a jack 18.</p> |
