PURPOSE: To obtain a molded material used for cold foods, comprising a lactic acid base polymer, having serviceable brittleness at a low temperature, rigidity and trasparency and also provided with biodegradability in natural environments. CONSTITUTION: This molded material is used for cold foods, comprises a lactic acid base polymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 1 to 700,000 and containing structural units obtained by the condensation through dehydration of lactic acid, and polyester structural units obtained by the condensation through dehydration of a dicarboxylic acid and a diol and/or polyether polyester structural units obtained by the condensation through dehydration of a dicarboxylic acid and a polyether polyol and has a brittle temperature of at most 10 deg.C as measured by the method of test for brittle temperature of a plastic (prescribed by JIS K 7216). |
