PURPOSE: To automatically sort out torn bags from cans and bottles. CONSTITUTION: A large number of scraping up pins 3 are installed in the surface of a rotary cylinder 2 to be rotated, and wastes W to be treated which are mixtures of storage bags (a) torn by a bag-tearing apparatus with cans and bottles (b), are supplied to one side of the rotary cylinder 2. Only the torn bags (a) are scraped up by the scraping up pins 3 and separated from the cans and bottles (b). In this case, a scraper 4 may be installed on the opposite side to the side to which wastes W to be treated are supplied. Further, a cutter 5 for secondary tearing may be so installed as to face the rotary cylinder 2. Consequently, only torn bags are scraped up by the scraping up pins installed in the surface of the rotary cylinder 2 which is rotating. On the opposite side to the supply side, the scraped up torn bags are removed from pins 3 by the scraper 4. Moreover, even if tearing of the bags by the bag-tearing apparatus is incomplete, bags are torn again by the cutter 5 for secondary tearing and then separation of the bags from cans and bottles can surely be carried out. |
