PURPOSE: To save equipment and operating cost significantly by storing a water-tight lid and an arm in a loading part when carrying a pig into a tubular path, then blocking a carrying-in/out port with the water-tight lid at the time of moving the pig back and forth, and suppressing its floatation into the carrying-in/out port, using a guide rail. CONSTITUTION: Two lower lids 6 which open downward and are installed on a pin 5 at the lower part of a sealing member 4 around the ceiling part 4 of a carrying-in/out port 1, are opened downward by their own weight simply by removing a fixing pin 9 on the one end and at the same time, store a pig guide rail 14 which is fastened to the inner side of the lower lids 6 in such a manner that the rail 14 are suspended. Thus a space, into which a pig 09 is carried is secured. After carrying the pig in, a suspended piece 11 is wound up using a suspension wire attached to the suspension piece 11 at the time of opening the lower lids 6. Then the suspension piece is fixed to the ceiling part by the fixing pin 9 and consequently, the guide rail 14 on the inner side spreads in such a manner that it holds the pig 09 by its own weight. Further, if a running water is flown as specified through the tubular path 01, the pig 09 finds its way into the tubular path 01 downstream without being afloat by the pressure of the running water, and the tubular path is cleaned. |
