<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device equipped with a recording paper discharging tray, whose projection from a box body is not large and which can stably carry a large recording paper sheet as well. CONSTITUTION: A recording paper 1, on which an image was formed by an image forming device, is sent into a recording paper discharging tray 6, which is installed in a box body (C) of the image forming device, by a final and a pair of paper discharging rollers 5. Then, the recording paper 1 which is still being carried, is prohibited from moving in the direction of the send-in by means of a stopper 6a, which is provided at an end part of the recording paper discharging tray 6 in the direction in which the recording paper 1 is sent. In this case, the paper discharging tray 6 is installed in the box body (C) in such a manner that a distance between the final and a pair of rollers 5 and the stopper 6a is shorted than the length of the recording paper 1 in the carry-in direction. As a result, owing to the sending-in motion of the final and a pair of rollers 5, the recording paper 1 is sent in, being bent convexly upward, while its tip end in the carrying direction is locked with the stopper 6a. Further, when the engagement between the rear end in the carrying direction of the paper 1 is disengaged, the paper 1 drops onto the carrying plane of the recording paper discharging tray 6 to be mounted thereon.</p> |
