PURPOSE: To provide an ultrasonic scanner that can perform mechanical scans under a stable condition. CONSTITUTION: This ultrasonic scanner includes an ultrasonic vibration means 1 which achieves conversion between electric signals and ultrasonic vibrations in at least one direction and a flexible member 2 which is intimately contacted with the ultrasonic wave transfer surface of the ultrasonic vibration means 1 and which, by being made from a flexible material, makes the ultrasonic vibration means 1 movable with respect to the surface of contact ofa specimen. |
