<p>A drug infusion syringe plunger comprising an assembly which includes linear transmission means mounted on a holder and made up of a feed screw and at least one telescopic member supporting a seal providing sealing contact between the plunger and the syringe body. A releasable pull member enables the assembly to be moved freely within the syringe body for filling as with a conventional syringe. For actual infusion, the assembly may be fixed to the syringe body and driven by external control and drive means.</p> |
