PURPOSE: To obtain tea of wrapped hop comprising a wrapped hop a raw material obtained by removing a lupulin part from a hop bur, readily drinkable, having a refreshing feeling, excellent in palatability. CONSTITUTION: A wrapped hop as a by-product obtained by removing a lupulin part from a hop bur in brewing a beer is used as a raw material. The wrapped hop is used as it is or roasted and extracted with water or hot water to give a tea beverage. The wrapped hop is cleansed with an organic solvent (e.g. ethanol, etc.) and a fish-like smell is reduced to make the tea beverage more readily drinkable. |
