Digital imaging system operating method for X=ray diagnostic device

The x-ray device includes an x-ray generator, an x-ray image converter and a tv (monitor) for display of the converted x-ray images. The image converter converts x-rays into digital images composed of a matrix of pixels arranged in rows and columns. Defective pixels are corrected using two-stage interpolation. In one stage, line and rest defects are corrected. In the second stage, row defects are corrected. Linear or cubic interpolation is used for correction. The image converter is made of amorphous silicon.
