In this procedure thermoplastic mouldings are made from sheet. It is introduced hot, to be moulded under pressure in a two-part mould (1, 2), followed by sepn. from the band, and ejection. In the method, after deformation, the moulding is fully sepd. in a single stamping operation and then deposited onto a rest introduced between the dies, before being carried away. Also claimed is an appts. to carry out the procedure. The upper (2) of the two separable die halves (1, 2) picks up the moulding and has an ejector plunger. The lower (1) includes a band steel knife for notch-free cutting. A drive introduces one of various possible rests between the moulds before ejection of the moulding.
