An electric plug remover for pivotal mounting to a modified cover plate structure wherein an actuator plate with a large target area outwardly forces a lever plate positioned between the plug and the cover plate away from the cover plate such that the plug connected to the plug receptacle is loosened and/or removed therefrom with a minimum of physical effort.
