The speed reducer consists of a main body (1) and its cover (2) containing two epicyclic gear trains mounted on bearings which, when the entry shaft (3) is driven with a speed V3, this provokes, by the intermediary of the gears (4- 5-6) and (8-9-10), a speed of the output shaft (11) of V11. where:- V11 = V3/Rr. Where:- Rr=1/(D8/(D10+D8)-(D4/D6)/(1+D8/D10) is the reduction ratio between the entry shaft (3) and the exit shaft (11). D4 is the number of teeth on the gear (4) D6 being the number of teeth on the gear (6) D8 being the number of teeth on the gear (8) and D10 being the number of teeth on the gear (10). If Rr is negative, this implies that the direction of rotation of the output shaft (11) is opposite to that of the input shaft (3).
