A machine for chipping plastic material has a frame (1) on which is mounted a cylindrical tub (2) of which the base (10) moves in alternate rotation. Internally is a rotating saw (7), fitted in a housing, driven by a motor (6). The saw blades (7) are of a dia. equal to or less than the dia. of the tub. The saw blades are made to alternatively project into the inside of the tub from their housing.
