FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: potato digger has share, rod-chain elevator and haulm remover. Fixed semi-round sector is installed above working span of rod-chain elevator instead of drum. Sector has many rollers spring-loaded at both ends 5, thus forming roller bed. Sector is embraced by portion of rod-chain elevator at the rear on arc of 180 deg. Haulm remover consists of row of endless round-section belts fitted on sector rollers to that rear spans of belts in their upper portion are in tight contact with rods of elevator in zone where they are passed over elevator drive shaft.
