<p>A data recording apparatus for recording digital data on a data record medium (2) is disclosed, that comprises an input means (1) for receiving first data of which data is divided by a length of a multiple of 512 bytes and second data of which data is divided by a byte length corresponding to a CD format, a formatting means (4a, 4b) for converting each of the first data and the second data into a sector format, an encoding means (7, 8) for error-correction-code encoding output data of said formatting means (4a, 4b), a modulating means (9) for digitally modulating the data that has been error-correction-code encoded, and a recording means for recording record data supplied from said modulating means (9) to the data record medium (2). <IMAGE></p> |
