COOLING TOWER SPRINKLER SHEET

摘要

FIELD: heat-and-mass exchange apparatus; evaporating cooling towers; water cooling devices in water circulating system at direct contact of media. SUBSTANCE: convex-concave sheet of cooling tower is provided with corrugations located at an angle relative to edges of sheet with additional transverse convex and concave members. Innovation of invention consists in the form of additional members of sprinkler sheet which are concave on side of corrugations directed to flow of cooling air and convex on side of corrugations directed to flow of sprinkling water; additional members are made in the form of part of spherical surface at pitch equal to 1.1-1.5 of diameter of circle of member; depth of each member at its top is equal to 2-5 thicknesses of sheet; at least two members are located on transverse projection of corrugation slope. Such construction of sprinkler sheet provides for creation of active hydrodynamic mode of interaction of liquid film with cooling air flow, avoidance of stagnant zones on side of corrugations in way of liquid flow, increase of contact surfaces of phases. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat-and-mass exchange in evaporating cooling towers.
