METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CHECKING AUTHENTICITY OF BANK NOTES

FIELD: devices which check bank note authenticity. SUBSTANCE: method involves capacitance detection of faked bank notes. Level of dielectric permeability of paper of checked bank note is compared against given possibility range of levels of dielectric permeability. In addition method takes into account dielectric permeability of air. device which implements said method has optimal shape of measuring electrode of capacitance detector. This results in simplified operations of device in dynamic mode when bank notes are simultaneously counted and detected. EFFECT: increased reliability, decreased influence of environment conditions.
