FIELD: hydrometallurgy of noble metals. SUBSTANCE: method involves extraction of noble metals from the saturated solutions containing gold, silver and platinum metals by elution of the sorbed metal ions with thiourea hydrochloride solution. Preliminary gold and silver ions were eluted with thiourea sulfate solution. Method can be used for selective platinum metals extraction. EFFECT: selective extraction of noble metals from ion-exchange resins.
