PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption required for the information processing, by providing a circuit for switching the supply stop time of a clock signal in accordance with a signal state of a changeover switch. CONSTITUTION:In a device for processing an input and an output of information for setting a picture photographing condition throughout a period in which a clock signal is supplied, a mode changeover switch 31, and a switching circuit 11 for switching the supply stop time of a clock signal in accordance with a signal state of this changeover switch 31 are provided. In such a way, a state of a camera at the time when such main operations as an automatic focusing AF operation and an automatic exposure AE operation, etc. are being executed, and a state of the camera at the time when the main operation is not being executed can be displayed by a signal state of the mode changeover switch 31, and also, the switching circuit 11 can be switched so that the supply stop time of the clock signal becomes a longer time than the time at the time when the main operation is being executed, in case the signal state of the mode changeover switch 31 is showing a state that the main operation is not being executed, and the power consumption can be reduced. |
