PURPOSE: To obtain an org. photoreceptor in which deterioration in the electrification performance and wear in the film thickness are hardly caused, good cleaning property can be maintained and the surface is hardly scratched even when the photoreceptor is repeatedly used, and moreover, to provide an electrophotographic device and a device unit having high reliability by using this photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor consists of a conductive supporting body and a photosensitive layer. The outermost surface layer of the photoreceptor contains inorg. particles satisfying the following conditions. (1) The volume average particle size is between >=0.1μm and <=2μm. The ratio (DW/DN) of the number average particle size (DN) to the weight average particle size (DW) defined by the following formula satisfies 1<=(DW/DN)<=2. Or, (2) the volume average particle size is between >=0.1μm and <=1.0μm and particles having >1.0μm particle size are included by <=1vol.%. DN and DW are defined as DN=ΣNiDi/ΣNi and DW=ΣmiNiDi/ΣmiNi, wherein mi is the mass of the particle, Ni is the number of particles and Di is the diameter of the particle. |
