ETHYLENE/ALPHA-OLEFIN/NONCONJUGATED DIENE COPOLYMER RUBBER

摘要

PURPOSE: To obtain an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber which is highly flowable and can be molded into a vulcanizate having high strengths, high hardness and reduced high-temperature compression set. CONSTITUTION: This ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber is one having a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4 , 100 deg.C) of 5-90, an ethylene/α-olefin weight ratio of 70/30 to 90/10, and a nonconjugated diene content of 2-50 (in terms of an iodine value), having a content of cyclohexane insolubles of 4-50wt.% and having a peak of the melting point of the ethylene crystalline part standing at a temperature in the range of 40-100 deg.C as measured by DSC.
