PURPOSE: To provide an engine mount that reduces the extent of vibrations in an engine and a car body favorably and efficiently according to a car driving state without being affected by the setup environment of this engine mount. CONSTITUTION: A mount body 30 is installed in space between a car body and an engine. A magnetic circuit is made up of a lower yoke 71, a ferrite magnet 72 and an upper yoke 73, and a movable coil 79 is installed in this magnetic circuit. Those of lower yoke 71, ferrite magnet 72 and upper yoke 73 are housed in a stainless steel outer yoke 61 or nonmagnetic substance. Therefore, an extent of magnetic flux is almost no leakage to the outer yoke 61 from the magnetic circuit, and further if a magnetic substance surrounds a peripheral wall of the outer yoke 61, a magnetic flux quantity to be leaked to the magnetic substance at the outside of the outer yoke 61 from the magnetic circuit is reduced, so that any drop in working force to the movable coil 79 supplied with a current is checkable. |
