<p>In a method for continuous manufacture of profiled sections material (3) is forced through a passageway (2) past the rotating die (5) to form one or several lengthwise profiled sections (11, 12). During its advancement the material (3) is forced into one or several recesses (10) formed in the peripheral face (9) of the die (5). Transverse profiled section parts (13) that are integral with lengthwise profiled sections (11, 12) are then being formed in or laterally of the profiled sections (11, 12). A device for performing the method comprises a die (5) serving as a shaping tool. The die is arranged to rotate and is provided with one or several recesses (10) in its peripheral face (9). The recess/recesses (10) are arranged to shape, in or laterally of one or several strings of material that form lengthwise profiled sections (11, 12) and are being advanced past the die (5), profiled section parts (13) that are integral with said lengthwise sections (11, 12).</p> |
