The handling especially contains turning and/or shifting of the stack prior to, or after, cutting, while the stack remains in its original configuration. The top side surface of the stack is exposed to a vertically directed force. Then the stack is shifted and/or turned, as required, only by force introduction from the top side into the plane formed by the stack support face. Pref. friction preventing elements between the support and stack are used directly before and during introduction of force for the stack movement.
