<p>An easy opening device esp. adapted to flexible film (3) packaging presenting a line of very low tear resistance (4) is new. It contains a flexible but non-stretchable piece (5), e.g. a label, skin or piece of film joined to the outside of the film (3), placed to overlap the low tear resistance line (4) and having w.r.t. flat line means (6) of separating the piece (5) into two parts (7a, 7b). The separation means are activated only by sufficient pulling force of the user. The piece (5) and the film are joined (8) each side of the line of low tear resistance and a means of manual gripping (9) of at least one part of the piece (7a, 7b) to activate the separation means (6), separate the two parts (7a, 7b) and open the package. Also claimed is packaging using the device.</p> |
