PURPOSE:To obtain the title polymer alloy outstanding in impact resistance and processability by blending a main polymer system made up of vinyl chloride- based polymer and methyl methacrylate copolymer with an ethylene-vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride graft copolymer and a stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer alloy can be obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of a main polymer system made up of A1: 60-80wt.% of a vinyl chloride-based polymer (pref. vinyl chloride accounting for >=80wt.% of the whole monomer and 600-1100 in polymerization degree) and A2: the rest of a methyl methacrylate-based polymer (pref. methyl methacrylate accounting for >=70wt.%) with (B) 3-20 pts.wt. of an ethylene-vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride graft copolymer [pref. with the weight ratio ethylene-vinyl acetate/vinyl chloride = (5:95)-(50:50)] and (C) 1-3 pts.wt. of a stabilizer (pref. an organotin mercapto- based one). |
