CONSTITUTION: At one end side in the stack direction of bills P stored in a bill storage part 32, a payoff roller 33 is provided which takes the bills out of the bill storage part, sheet by sheet, and on the other end side in the stack direction of the bills, a backup plate 35 is provided movably in the stack direction. One end of a pressure spring 84 which applies a pressing force for pressing the bills against the payoff roller is coupled with the backup plate, and the other end is supported movably in the stack direction. The other end of the pressure spring is moved in the stack direction of the bills by an adjusting mechanism 78 according to the number of the stacked bills to adjust the pressing force operating on the backup plate. |
