PURPOSE: To give a large dimming degree even if a lamp current is small by forming conductive paint or metal on the outside surface of the glass tube of a cold cathode fluorescent lamp. CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a glass tube 1 are closed, a fluorescent substance 2 is applied to the inside wall of the glass tube 2, and mercury 3 and inert gas 4 are filled inside. Lead wires 6 are welded with electrodes 5 made of metal and are gastight-sealed with the glass tube 1. Conductive paint is linearly applied to the outside surface of the glass tube 1 as a proximity conductor. It is desirable to set the width of the proximity conductor to 1mm or less. |
