PURPOSE: To carry out smooth and speedy gear lever thrusting control by judging it as invalid stroke filling completion at the time when an absolute value of a rate of rotational change of a coupling means output shaft is higher than a specified rate of change and a difference between rotating speed of an engine and rotating speed of the coupling means output shaft is hither than a specified value. CONSTITUTION: Number of rotation of an engine Ne, Number of rotation of a turbine of a torque converter Nt and a rate of change of turbine rotation dNt/dt are detected, and a differenceΔN of the number of rotation of the engine Ne and the number of rotation of the turbine Nt is computed. When it is judged that this differenceΔN becomes larger than a first allowanceΔN1 and an absolute value of the rate of change of turbine rotation dNt/dt becomes larger than a first allowable rate RNt(1), it is judged that invalid stroke filling of a third clutch CL3 is completed. Thereafter, it is transferred to control to actuate a solenoid valve in accordance with a first duty ratio as the solenoid valve is left at an intermediate duty ratio. |
