PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ropper which reduces man-hour and costs for production. SOLUTION: In a lopper 10 of the type having an anvil cooperable with a blade, the blade is operated by a pair of slender members 12 and 14 made of moldable material, the 1st member has a single 1st handle 18 merging into a 1st gear segment 20 equipped with an integral central post, the 1st member is terminated at a distal end by the anvil, the 2nd member 14 has a 2nd handle 24 merging into a 2nd gear segment 26 at one end, the 2nd gear segment 26 has an integral 2nd post, and the 1st and 2nd members are turnably connected to a metal plate at the central post and the 1st post. As the moldable material, a plastic is most preferable but other moldable substances can be adopted as well. |
