PURPOSE: To shorten the conveying time of strip-like bodies by carrying-in them into the holding space of a rotary holder at the carrying-in position, supporting them on a guide member and a contact member via a step rotating action, moving them to the discharging position, and storing them in a storage section. CONSTITUTION: Strip-like bodies 20 are carried into the holding space 18 of a rotary holder 12 temporarily stopped at the carrying-in position U. Since the rotary shaft B of the rotary holder 12 is inclined by the prescribed angleαfrom the horizon A, the strip-like bodies 20 are slid in the carrying-in direction in the holding space 18 into contact with a contact member 34. The strip-like bodies 20 are moved in sequence at the uniform angular intervals toward the discharging position as the rotary holder 12 is rotated. When the strip-like bodies 20 are located below the carrying-in position U, the end sections of their outer peripheries are positioned in contact with a guide member 32, they are moved toward the contact member 34, and the carry-in side end faces are also positioned. When the strip-like bodies 20 reach the discharging position, the guide member 32 is terminated, and the strip-like bodies 20 are discharged from the holding space 18 and stored in a storage section in the stacked state.
