PURPOSE: To enable to prevent the damage of the first tip of a fishing rod, when the joint parts of the first and second tips are polished. CONSTITUTION: The second hollow tip 1 is tapered. An engaging part 2a formed at the base end of the first tip 2 is inserted and attached into the second tip 1, and bonded with an adhesive. The main body 2b of the first tip 2 is tapered. A tapered intermediate part 2c is formed between the engaging part 2a and the main body 2b, and the tapered angle a of the intermediate part 2c is set to be larger than the tapered angleβof the second tip 1.
