FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: proposed ship is supplied with electric power from underwater rails through carriage with rope and wire fed from electric stations. Rails are located on piles and sleepers and are arranged in concrete or cement chute. Since electrical resistance of water exceeds that of iron of rails by billion times, neither shorting nor coronal discharge can take place and proposed electrically-driven vessel may used in rivers and lakes.
