<p>PURPOSE: To detect the plugging of the filter of a trap device to regenerate the filter by providing an exhaust pressure boosting means for boosting exhaust pressure by the motor operation of a motor-generator in the low rotation area of an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION: In order to determine the regeneration timing of the filter 3a of an exhaust particulate collecting trap 3, the pressure ratio of pressure sensors 5, 6 is obtained, and in the case of the specified value or more, regenerating action is executed. In the case of the rotation of an internal combustion engine 1 being lower than the specified value, a signal for switching a motor-generator 2c to an exhaust pressure measuring mode is sent to a motor-generator control device 10. Upon receiving this signal, the motor-generator control device 10 switches the motor-generator 2c to a motor operating mode and outputs a control signal for the specified motor operation to the motor-generator 2c. The specified motor operation means the operation of the motor-generator 2c under operating conditions to obtain such exhaust pressure as to stabilize the signals of the pressure sensors. Stable pressure detection can therefore be performed even in a low rotation area.</p> |
