PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly clean the heating mold of a tire heating press without causing trouble. SOLUTION: In a method and apparatus for cleaning a heating mold vulcanizing a car pneumatic tire, a laser device 12 known itself, particulary a portable laser device 12 provided with a laser processing head 13 is used. The laser processing head 13 is moved to a heating press to be cleaned and connected to the surfaces to be cleaned of heating molds 11, 11a through a shakable manipulator 15. The contaminant peeled from the heating molds 11, 11a by the laser processing head 13 is supplied to a collection container 19 by a suction part 16. |
