PURPOSE: To obtain a composition for oral cavity with the activity of a lipophilic ingredient maintained stably in the form of preparation, free from a sense of foreign matter feeling and any oiliness or stickiness stemmed from such lipophilic ingredient, and favorable use feeling. CONSTITUTION: This composition for oral cavity contains 0.01-10wt.% of agar particles prepared by including a lipophilic ingredient in agar-agar and having an average diameter of 200-7000μm and a disintegration load of 0.5-100g/particle. The lipophilic ingredient is a conventionally formulated one such as a fragrant ingredient, liposoluble vitamin(s), lipophilic germicide or lipophilic coloring matter. Besides, this composition is formulated, according as appropriate, with conventional ingredients and prepared into a dentrifice such as toothpaste or tooth wash, a gingiva-massaging cream, pasty local liniment, esp. pref. into an agent to be used in a pasty form. To include the lipophilic ingredient in agar-agar, a known dripping technique is used.
