PURPOSE: To keep an opening of a case free from being clogged with alien substances in a sealing structure wherewith the alien substances can be prevented from intruding through a case opening such as a sound-releasing port of an electronic instrument such as a pager, and to make a dustproof seal replaceable easily without disassembling the case body. CONSTITUTION: In a sealing structure wherein a dustproof seal 16 for preventing intrusion of alien substances is provided at an opening 12 of a case body 11, the dustproof seal 16 is attached from the outside to a recessed part 13 of the case body 11. On attachment, the dustproof seal 16 is made flush with the peripheral part of the case body 11. The dustproof seal 16 is composed of an external layer exposed to the outside, a sealing layer provided at the inside of the external layer for preventing intrusion of the alien substances, and an adhesive layer provided at the inside of the sealing layer for adhesion to the recessed part 13 of the case body 11. Furthermore, the sealing layer is formed of a breathable film. |
