PURPOSE: To obtain a calcium preparation for a food containing calcium capable of producing the food containing a high calcium content by only adding it during the cooking of rice or preparation of a food to disperse a hardly water soluble calcium compound into the heated food. CONSTITUTION: The calcium preparation for a food containing calcium in which a hardly water soluble calcium compound is coated with the gel layer of a thermoplastic gelling agent, is obtained by cooling a dispersed liquid obtained by dispersing 100 pts.wt. hardly water soluble calcium compound into an aqueous solution obtained by dissolving with heating 0.01-10 pts.wt. thermoplastic gelling agent, changing into gel drying and pulverizing, and the food containing calcium is produced by adding the above calcium preparation to the food material during its cooking. |
