PURPOSE: To facilitate individual management of game machines by judging if an image control program and stored data are proper, and displaying the results from judgement and the cause of improperness in the case as judged improper. CONSTITUTION: When the power of a game machine is put on, a CPU 150 performs sum check of a game program stored in a ROM 152 and a graphic program for display and control of images and the check of various data pieces for managing games stored in a RAM 151 and various counters used in the game control. The results from this system check are exhibited in a display region on a game board. That is, an image representing the result is displayed for each object checked if the result from system checking is normal. If an error is sensed in the system check, a likely cause of the error and associate error code are displayed in one set. |
