PURPOSE: To prevent burning of machinery due to drop of insulation resistance of electric machinery caused by entering of waterdrops, moisture, or the like from a ventilation gallery, a lightening window, or the like, in an elevator machinery room. CONSTITUTION: A waterdrop detector 6A, 6B or a humidity detector 7A, 7B is installed at a ventilation gallery l, a ventilating fan etc., and a glass breakage detector 8 is installed at glass of a lightening window 2. When these detection values exceed specific values, a power supply cutoff device 9 is operated, so that supply of power to electric machinery is cut off. |
