CEILING SUSPENDED TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: To reduce a pressure loss and noise by a method wherein aerodynamic characteristic of indoor air flowing through a ceiling suspended type air conditioner is improved. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 8 is inclined and installed, a cross-flow fan 7 is mounted on the downstream side of the heat exchanger 8. A relation between a diameter D and a clearance δis set to be within a range of 0.13<=δ/D<=0.17, where D is the diameter of the cross-flow fan and δ is the clearance at a part where the cross-flow fan 7 and the heat exchanger 8 are most approached to each other.
