The boomerang jack has a leg (1) with a ground support base plate (4) at one end. An arm (2) pivots on the leg and an under vehicle support head (10) is pivoted by two trunnions in two housings in the arm. A screw (6) with an end handle is pivoted on the leg by a nut (5) and on the arm by a stop (9). The stop has two trunnions pivoted in two arm housings. One of the four arm housings taking the head and stop trunnions has a lateral opening. This opening is of smaller width than the diameter of the corresponding trunnion. The stop or head trunnion corresponding to the housing opening has a local deformation allowing its mounting in an angular position relative to the arm and the stop.
